I dug out the saplings from the cutting bed I made last year and transplanted them into plastic pots.
Every year I pick some of the pruned branches and make cuttings.
Just like seedlings, it's fun to grow new life.
Creating your own materials allows you to take on bold challenges, and you can learn a lot from them.
Now, as a precaution, be sure to check the root condition of the materials you dig up.
Although it pains you, any cuttings with bad roots should be discarded at this point.
Bonsai is rational and differnt from philanthropy towards living things.

@@bonsai-haruyoshi Making a separate video of your pots is a good idea but how can we here in Europe 'buy' them from you? Of course we can also just come and enjoy your 'garden'.

@@adstoop7885 Actually, videos about pots are not very popular.
My pots are all delivered to bonsai gardens, mainly Chinese, Taiwanese and Japanese.
I hope my products will reach you all in Europe .

Your channel is my favorite. What is your favorite species to work with? My current favorites are Iwashide and Himeshara. I'm more familiar with alternating leaf pattern species, but I enjoy everything. I wonder if Gumi root well from cuttings.

      Thank you for your comment.
My favourites are black pines and junipers.
My garden is on the roof of a building, so this limits the types of trees to be grown here.
